If you thought the renovation of the Warfield theater was incredible, wait til you see the work/live units upstairs.
I used to think it was cool to live within a mile of the now-defunct-but-still-legendary Sweetwater in Mill Valley, but imagine living a few floors above the stomping ground of Jerry Garcia, Bob Dylan and Neil Young. That's right, the developers who cleaned up the Warfield are now offering the upper floors of the Market Street building for sale as full-floor commercial condominiums. And while four of the floors share a wall with the music venue, the top three stories of 988 Market Street (floors 6, 7 and 8) do not, offering full advantage of the C3G zoning, which allows 25% of the space to be designated residential.
