A few events happening around town this Father's Day weekend:
After a winter hibernation, Indie Martis back this Sunday with its first outdoor event of the season. They'll be shutting down the street at 17th and Wisconsin for outdoor vendors, food, and crafters galore. Also, local bands The Frail, Shannon and the Clams, and The Red Verse will be performing throughout the day inside Thee Parkside.
Marina design boutique ATYS (that's pronounced ah-tees) is having an exhibition and sale this Saturday featuring the work of SF-based graphic artists Stacy Pancake and Lian Ng. Stop by from 11:30 to 3:30 to meet the artists and peruse all the highly cool accessories the store has to offer. Oh, and if you haven't found the perfect gift for your hipper-than-hip dad, this might be the place.
Make your way to Pacific Heights with this coupon in hand for 25% off purchases at interior design store Bae. If you're swamped with Father's Day activities, no problem - use code "SUMMER" at checkout on items from Bae's website to get your discount without leaving home.
Start the weekend off right with drinks, art, and shopping (what a great combination!) at the opening of artist John Casey's show "Red Handed" at BellJar in the Mission. Festivities run from 6 to 9pm tonight (Friday).
