Oh, Jackson Browne, how we love thee; your singing, your songwriting, your guitar playing, and your all-around awesome sauce talent. And thanks to you, ‘70s-loving Bay Area hipsters now have something to look forward to this November besides cold weather and Thanksgiving. As part of Jackson Browne’s 2011 Solo Acoustic Tour, which began in February, “Mr. Running On Empty” will be performing at the intimate Marin Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael on November 9th. Browne will be traveling with a spanking new Gibson guitar bearing his namesake (the first-ever), a piano, and rockin’ tunes spanning his entire body of work from the oh-so-political to “Doctor My Eye,” and “Take It Easy.”
Admission ranges from $45.50-$65.50 – a small price to see (and hear) one of the coolest rock/folk legends ever. Tickets went on sale this past Friday, July 15th, so snatch one up A.S.A.P. before they sell out: http://www.jacksonbrowne.com.
