For our column Jams We Love, we're turning you onto the songs that keep us going every day. Sometimes, after a weekend like this one, you need a lazy Sunday and a lazy Monday. Here are some songs to put your mind at ease.
1.Clams Casino, "I'm God"
This boat-rocking producer–who's helped out a few Bay Area rappers with beats lately–reaches the next level with this otherworldly song with its bold title and daydream-spawning synth licks.
2.Beach House, "Myth"
Superfans (like us) were probably onto this track last week, but for the more casual Beach House appreciators out there, here's a taste of what this Baltimore band's planning for their follow up to the sublime Teen Dream. Hands down one of the most gorgeous songs we've heard in 2012. And the best part? It'll probably sound even better live.
3.Jacobites, "Big Store"
4.The Creation, "If I Stay Too Long"
We love Thee Oh Sees' cover, but the original sounds just as good almost five decades later with its campfire sing-along vibe, liberal use of tambourines, and kitschy-cool background vocals.
5. Led Zeppelin, "Hey, Hey What Can I Do"
