Decorating a home is no easy task. There are so many beautiful and interesting looks to choose from, but with too many diverging inspirations the end product can be a muddled mess. That's not to say we're against mixing styles - in fact, we're all for it, but creating a cohesive result is key. So how do you do that? A good place to start is by defining your personal style. When you know what you're looking for, purchasing for a home can be more of a fun treasure hunt than an exhausting expidition. Enter Deborah Needleman, founding editor-in-chief of Domino magazine (RIP) an all-around interior design guru. She's put together a quiz with HomeGoods to help you put a name to your own personal style. The quiz only takes about 5 minutes, and in the end you get a two word "style scope" (we're Bohemian Classic - same as Deborah) and some advice on how to make your style work in your home. If you've already got the look of your place down the quiz can still be kinda fun, and you can take your results with a big ol' grain of salt. However, if you're looking for help in defining your space, you might actually gain some insight into your personal taste in decorating. Oh, and let us know your results in the comments!
