Those of us who trekked all the way to Manchester, Tennessee last week for Bonnaroo know that choosing between 100+ artists surely isn't easy. Couldn’t catch Grizzly Bear because you were shaking your booty to Santigold? No worries, some of Bonnaroo’s greatest leftovers are stopping by for a visit.

Sleepy Sun, Great American Music Hall, 6/19: This local sextet has been generating tons of buzz on the blog circuit for their raw, high-energy rock sound. Disclaimer for first timers: make sure you know the standard call and return at every Sleepy Sun show, “Let’s get weird.” It’s shouted loud and proud by avid fans, and trust us, the show will probably be just that.

Femi Kuti, The Fillmore, 6/20: After tearing up one of the tents at Bonnaroo, Femi Kuti is showing no signs of stopping. He’s here to stomp through his Nigerian Afro-beats that we’re sure will make the bouncy Fillmore floor shake with intense rhythm. With a dad like Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, you can’t put his sound in a neat box, but we promise there will be elements of funk, jazz, soul and a whole lot of danceable beats.

White Rabbits, The Independent, 6/20: Also fresh off the Bonnaroo boat, the White Rabbits stunned everyone with their upbeat post-punk indie. They’ve been busy making It’s Frightening that’s been blowing up the charts and has them booked in pretty much every state in the union.

Grizzly Bear, The Fillmore, 6/21-22: Their latest album, Veckatimest, has the critics and fans raving alike. After showcasing it live at Bonnaroo in front of a packed crowd, the reviews still haven’t stopped and their momentum is unstoppable at this point. They just added a second night to their stop at The Fillmore so make sure you heckle the scalpers for some good prices.
