The 2nd Annual Salsa Festival on The Fillmore will take over 11 venues, with 12 live bands, this Friday and Saturday evening. Each night begins with a free outdoor concert and beginner salsa lesson, so no excuses! And even if you can't quite step to the rhythm, looking the part is half the battle. Here's a glitzy little number, perfect for an evening of the best SF salsa.  

When it comes to dancing (and especially with latin and ballroom), the proper footwear is essential. It's important to keep your instep secure, so just any old ankle strap won't cut it.
