If you've ever wondered what happens in the world around you when you drift off to sleep and all goes silent, check out the work of local photographers Greta and Manu Schnetzler. “We have an attraction to what has been left behind to decay or be destroyed, or that which is waiting to be reanimated by human presence. Late night is home to all of those things.” 

Their works reveal a variety of subject matter: eerie and abandoned car dealerships waiting for customers who will never come; a beautifully maintained home with a dog vigilantly peering through parted curtains; and nature showing her stuff in Aurora Borealis.

“Night work shows the world we see everyday transformed. And there is something wonderful, disturbing, and even reassuring about that.”
