On September 26, 7x7 continued the late summer event series—The Cocktail Party 2012 with Maker's Mark—with a warm happy hour at the historic waterside restaurant and bar Pier 23 on San Francisco's Embarcadero.
Guests brought high spirits under the space-heaters on the covered back deck while enjoying the evening's signature cocktail, The Running Mate, presented by mixologist Aaron Minor—a deceptively simple yet powerful libation made with Maker's Mark, a splash of orange liqueur, a muddled orange wedge and a splash of ginger ale. Pier 23's kitchen also provided delicious bites for the happy crowd.
During the event, guests registered as Maker's Mark ambassadors to receive fun gifts throughout the year. The new registrants at Pier 23 were also treated to generous samples of Maker's 46, and took away cool, custom wax-dipped glasses, shakers, money clips and more—resembling Maker's Mark's red wax-sealed bottles.
Don't miss the next stop on the Cocktail Party tour of San Francisco, happening at the lovely Reed & Greenough in the Marina District on Wednesday, October 3rd at 3251 Scott Street at Chestnut—find out more here!
