On October 3rd, 7x7 continued the late summer event series, The Cocktail Party 2012 with Maker's Mark, with a packed happy hour at the beautifully-designed Reed & Greenough in San Francisco's Marina District.
The series' election theme became especially relevant that night as the bar broadcast the entirety of the first presidential debate between President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney on their TV screens.
The rapt crowd hung on every word while enjoying the evening's signature cocktail, The Vermont, presented by bar manager Joe Summa—made with Maker's Mark, Cynar Artichoke Liqueur, grapefruit juice, maple syrup, and rhubarb bitters. Reed & Greenough also provided delicious bites from Cedar Hill Kitchen + Smokehouse.
During the event, guests registered as Maker's Mark VIPs to receive fun gifts throughout the year. The new VIPs at Reed & Greenough were also treated to generous samples of Maker's 46, and took away cool, custom wax-dipped glasses, shakers, money clips and more—resembling Maker's Mark's red wax-sealed bottles.
Don't miss the final stop on the Cocktail Party tour of San Francisco, happening at the famed Wreck Room on Nob Hill on Thursday, September 18th at 1390 California at Hyde—find out more here!
