The Target To-Go holiday pop-up shop in Mint Plaza is officially in full swing. The "store" opened to the public at 10 a.m. this morning and hoardes of bullseye-loving cityslickers are already pouring in. The concept, which we blogged about earlier this week on Domain, is simple—a range of products behind glass cases that brings the idea of window shopping to life. You grab a clipboard with purchase form and then check off the numbered items you would like to buy before heading to checkout. Your items then come to you via "conveyer belt," in the form of neatly packaged presents already wrapped and ready to take their spot under your tree. It's all very Santa's workshop.
We were lucky enough to get a first look before the registers opened to the masses, and here's what we found: three Rodarte for Target dresses on sale before they become available in stores on December 20! Ladies, now's your chance. We hear there's a limited supply and we all know how quickly Target sells out of its designer collections, so take a coffee break and head over to Mint Plaza before they're all gone. But, if for some reason you're not interested in Rodarte, there are many other gifts for you to pick up, including a cashmere scarf, jewelry, DVDs, children's toys such as Play-doh and the Sophie doll, a pomegranate and cassis candle, Sigg water bottle, a Burt's Bees Mani-Pedi set, a gingerbread decorating kit, martinis to go cocktail mixing set, iPod nanos, a Keurig mini brewer, Wii Fit Plus and more. So, Go-To Target now.
