We are sad and disheartened to learn that one of our long-time writers, Rossiter Drake, died over the weekend. 

Rossiter was best known to the 7x7.com audience for writing about film. He published a popular weekly column, Indie Theater Roundup: 7 Movies to See This Week. He also contributed director interviews, movie reviews, award show predictions, and film festival coverage. His knowledge of the film industry was undeniably rich and his love and passion for the genre was obvious.

When I first came on board to 7x7.com, my first correspondance from Ross was not an invite to meet for coffee but, instead, to join him at one of his movie screenings. Ross wrote dozens (if not hundreds) of articles for 7x7.com and we were fortunate to have him on our team. See more of Rossiter Drake's work here.
