If you're looking for a summer (or ski) home up at Tahoe this year, and your family really can't get enough of Northstar, several of the luxury Ritz-Carlton Residences are still available for purchase. Owners of the Residences, perched mid-mountain at Northstar California, can also enjoy extra amenities this summer at the luxury resort.

I've traveled around the world and have seen some beautiful hotels, but the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe could be one of the most stunning hotels in the world. The 23 penthouses that encompass the entire top floor and private wing of the Tahoe Ritz were unveiled to the public in February by international real estate investment and services company Kennedy Wilson and its partners. There are currently 15 of the residences left for purchase for a lucky few. For both current and new owners, the Residences are celebrating their inaugural summer season with some special mountain activities.

The Residences offer owners priority access to the exclusive facilities, services and amenities of the Ritz, including its two outdoor swimming pools, expansive outdoor terrace, and the 17,000-square-foot spa. This summer, brand new pool cabanas are being offered as well as croquet, lawn bowling, bocce ball court and new patio furniture. If you own one of these resort homes, you can also have access to cooking classes and wine tasting events, local championship golf courses and the RitzKids children's program. This supervised program is comprised of daily scavenger hunts, lawn games, cooking classes and mountain and lake adventures.



The fun for owners doesn't stop at night. During the summer, the Ritz will be holding Friday Night BBQs on the Meadows and Tahoe Star Gazing "Accent Tours" that are preceded by a live string quartet in the Ritz-Carlton hotel lobby. Owners can later gather around the fire pit to learn more about how to perfect their s'mores with "Marshmology," or enjoy a cocktail on the outdoor terrace.
