Whether you're tracking down a first edition of a literary classic, have an affinity for vintage science fiction, or are looking for the perfect piece of artwork—be it a historic map of California or a print of our glorious redwoods—the Bay Area's Classic San Francisco Antiquarian Book Print and Paper Fair is for you.

The San Francisco fair has been a fixture on the Bay Area scene since 1994, and becomes more diversified with each decade. Happening February 2nd-3rd, The biennial fair will feature dealers from around the world selling rare books and manuscripts—find adventure in voyages and exploration around the world. Step back in time with historic journeys across America through new literary finds. Want to meet Captain Cook? He'll be meandering through the array of booths. Explore over six centuries of creativity from the earliest illuminated manuscripts to 21st century autographed sketches by contemporary rock stars. There will be illustrations, posters, photographs, Western history and printed artifacts, autographs, and postcards to peruse. This event is for a lover of books and those that appreciate the feeling of turning pages—there are no Kindle readers here!

Appraisals are complimentary with admission to the fair and will be offered by PBA Galleries. Getting there is also simple with free parking. You can even hop on Bart to SFO, and then take a hotel shuttle to the Holiday Inn or Four Points.
