Sarah Seven may not have started her bridal and special occasion design company in SF, but she's here now.
Portland first served as Sarah Seven's design base but the designer has moved her studio/showroom to a gorgeous new space on Geary. SF brides in search of a local designer with a vintage flair and a philanthropic twist can look no further.
Seven explains, "We opened the bridal shop in San Francisco back in March. It's such a cool, young city with a true appreciation for arts and designers we felt it was the perfect place for the brand."
Full of romance and femininity, Seven's designs are for the modern bride who seeks the finer details, rather than tradition. You'll find long and short styles crafted from natural fabrics, silk, wool, linens, cotton voile and recycled vintage fabrics. Seven also gives back: With each purchase, the designer donates 5% of sales to charities.
Seven has expanded her repertoire to include a ready-to-wear collection called Mrs. Black by Sarah Seven. With the same modern vintage aesthetic, ladylike separates and dresses could outfit the rest of the bridal party.
From cocktail hour to black tie formal, prices range from $200 to $3,000. Peruse various bridal and Mrs. Black styles in the slideshow.
