If you think you've exhausted every cool new spot to celebrate happy hour with your work friends, think again. A new virtual reality arcade popped-up in SoMa this week, offering a space to chill, drink beer or wine, and just, you know, explore another universe.
Hosted by Urban Safari and Eagle Club Indoor Golf, the VR arcade will be at Howard and Second Street every Thursday, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., until April 27th. There will be two stalls available to reserve for a maximum of 30 minutes, with up to four people allowed in each stall. Equipped with the latest VR headsets and high-tech projection screens, the stalls are all set up with a variety of games—including mini golf, of course. Happy hour, meet the 21st century.
