This coming Sunday, the southbound lanes of Third Street between 18th Street and Yosemite Avenue will shutdown to vehicular traffic, in order to host you, your furry friends, or even your bike. Yes, Sunday Streets is happening. And you should check it out.
A slew of things will happen that day. For example, the Bayview YMCA will host their Healthy Kid’s Day at Newcomb Avenue, wherein the SF Bicycle Coalition and YBike will be teaching kids how to ride. But don't worry: this isn't all about the kids. There will be tons of food, arts & crafts, outreach, community, yoga, mingling, and more. It's a great way to meet your neigbors, and an even better way to use your rollerskates!
Slap on some SPF, grab some pals, and take the T-Third to this week's Sunday Street, happening from 11am to 4pm. For more information, check out this handy Sunday Streets guide.
