The "Bowl to Fill All Bowls" continues a favorite San Francisco holiday tradition as the Washington Huskies take on the BYU Cougars in the 2013 Fight Hunger Bowl game! Meanwhile, fans will be supporting some of the Bay Area's most respected charities, since the Bowl donates one meal for every ticket sold to the game!
As in previous years, the visiting teams attend and support a variety of activities during Bowl Week, featuring the beneficiaries of the Fight Hunger Bowl. This year, Washington will visit the GLIDE Memorial Church Kitchen, and BYU will visit St. Anthony Foundation's Dining Room, with both teams helping to prep and serve meals on Christmas Day. The Fight Hunger Bowl also benefits the San Francisco Food Bank.
The Bowl Week also includes a popular Pep Rally at Union Square, a Kickoff Luncheon at the Westin St. Francis, and an official children's event at the Exploratorium! Several ticketing options are available, including Group Tickets with seats located in the View Reserved section, featuring knockout views of the gridiron and the bay!
So far, the Bowl has donated over 300,000 meals in three years to the Bay Area's hungry—come out next week and help support the cause!
