The California Academy of Sciences has found a way to make our skin crawl, very literally in this case. As intrigued as we are by their hands on Skulls exhibit, there's one feature we're more than alright keeping our hands off. We recently watched in utter fascination as a Dermestid Beetle colony wiped a sea otter skull completely clean. Typically taking as long as four days to complete, the feast is showcased in this timpe-lapse video for our readers' viewing pleasure. Good luck looking away once you hit play.
