Oh, San Francisco. Just as we bemoan the lack of summer sun, the City by the Bay persists in showing us just how amazing our fog can be.

You might remember filmmaker Matthew Maniego, the guy who created a gorgeous time-lapse video called Paradise x SF back in 2013. For the last three years, he's been working on the sequel. That's right—three years. The result is simply breathtaking.

Paradise x SF 2 has a very different feel from the original. The music is calmer, the scenes more relaxed, and this time it's been rendered in 4K for some truly stunning detail. The video, a little over two minutes, is comprised of more than 100,000 photographs shot around the city and creates a cohesive look at some of SF's most beautiful spots as the fog rolls in.
