The uber quirky experimental psych band plays two shows this week, and tickets are still available. This group show juried by SF artist Todd Hido—whose work appears in the permanent collections at the Whitney, Guggenheim, SFMOMA, and LACMA—showcases photography's ongoing tensions between what is public and what is private.

"The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk"
Punk rock meets haute couture in the halls of the fine arts museum for the launch of the much-anticipated retrospective from the French enfant terrible. And if you want to splurge on absolute fabulousness, you can still get tickets to La Grande Fête on Fri. 3/23. It will only set you back about $250-$300 big ones, but for JPG, it's worth it.
