BAASICS.2: The Future
Artists, inventors, and futurists come together for a discussion about what lies ahead in the years to come. Former physicist and tech journalist Aaron Saenz talks good robots vs bad robots and prospects for synthetic life. It's fodder for the science geek in all of us.

The list of events goes on and on. Check out our picks for the Frameline Film Fest, booty-shaking dance parties, and fave drag shows. Folks of all persuasions can get down at Saturday's Bootie Mashup: Lady Gaga vs Madonna. Or head down to Saratoga to see Sarah Silverman at the Mountain Winery on 6/23 before she takes her post as celebrity grand marshal at this year's SF Pride parade on Sunday.

"David Shrigley: Brain Activity"
Dave Eggers says he's probably the funniest gallery-type artist who ever lived. See for yourself at the only U.S. show of the acclaimed London exhibition. In typical Scotsman fashion, Shrigley injects comedy into his fine-art and never passes up a chance to comment on life's absurdities.

Avett Brothers + Jackie Greene and Stripmall Architecture
