Rare Device moves to the up-and-coming Divisadero Corridor; a famed vintage store throws a glam party to celebrate an expansion; and a San Francisco furniture powerhouse puts its outdoor goods on sale just in time for summer—get ready for the top design events in the City by the Bay this month.
Rare Device has long been one of SF's top spots for finding great gifts and cute home accents. This March, the shop packs and moves from it's Market Street storefront to the newly-minted "Divisadero Corridor" (the stretch of the Divisadero between Haight and McAllister--word on the street is that Jeremy Tooker of Four Barrel Coffee is opeing a cafe this spring in the same 'hood). Owner Giselle Gyalzen will host a grand opening party on Thursday, March 15 from 5-10 pm to kick things off. Swing by to score incredible home goods. Plus, Bånh Mî Love You Long Time, Pandan_La and Simply Mochi will all be there selling delicious snacks. Like the old location, the store will feature finds from Up in the Air Somewhere, Begin Again and Elizabeth Street Cosmetics, among others. 3 Fish Studios will provide the inaugural show in the new gallery. 600 Divisadero St.
