Monarchs at Ardenwood This weekend is one of your last chances to go check out the Monarch butterflies at Ardenwood, in Fremont. They're congregating in the eucalyptus grove these days and will be heading out for the winter next week, so hurry up and get out there for a butterfly stroll.
Pizza at The Forge in Jack London Square The industrial chic style of The Forge is cool, but what we really like about this place is the awesome pizza. The Tablehopper reports that the crust is a take on Tartine's country bread recipe, if that's any indication of how good it is. The smoked salt kicks it up a notch, and they've got every topping imaginable. Plus they serve fried cheese curds. We don't know why, but we like it.
Alameda Point Antiques Faire So many things to love about this monthly event (first Sunday of each month), but we'll keep the list short: It uses the extra "e" at the end of fair, it's called an antiques fair but it's really a flea market, and it's the Bay Area's best spot to hunt for awesome design treasures that are actually a good deal.
