This weekend marks the start of the 36th annual Mill Valley Film Festival, presented by the California Film Institute. This non-competitive film festival features many of the year’s most hotly anticipated films, including Steve McQueen’s 12 Years As a Slave and 2013 Palme d’Or Winner Blue is the Warmest Color. With nearly 100 films, including a roster of children’s films, this is a cinematic event you won’t want to miss. Gordon Lightfoot at the Marin Civic Center
Gordon Lightfoot, one of the most renowned singer/songwriters of the 1960s and 70s is bringing his unique blend of folk, rock, and country to Marin County as a part of his 50th anniversary tour.
