Dr. Dog is a shaggy ramshackle group of Philadelphia dudes who play gorgeously bright, lo-fi, Beatles-esque pop and they're invading the Independent for two nights early next week–both of which are already sold out.

On June 28 and 29, rabid audience members will fill the space to hear the band's freewheeling harmonies and psych-tinged tunes found on their 2010 debut, Shame, Shame, with newer gems thrown in the mix.
