1. Monotone

Designers have reinvented the trend with textures and contrasting proportions. If you want to look modern, do this, especially in darker inky tones: head-to-toe navy, black, deep green.

3. Heavy

A hefty dress shoe, boot, or sneaker ties together all the best looks this season. Even—and especially—with suits.

4. Fleece

High fashion is making Patagonia its muse. Also included in this is an ode to all things fuzzy: shearling, long alpaca, goat hair, and fur.

5. Sweats

Make room for tailored sweats. This pant is best in wool or cashmere and worn with just about anything. It’s super modern and shows off 
your contours.

6. Necking

It’s all about accentuating the neck, either by swathing it in fabrics (think

Worn over the shoulder or as a scarf, this is a practical trend in our nature-loving city. It’s picnic, beach, mountain, camping, and festival ready.
