Thursday, May 7, Portland-based artist Damon Soule opens his new solo show, Same Loud No, of paintings and an installation at Fecal Face Dot Gallery in Hayes Valley. Soule hasn't shown in SF since 2006, but had a hit show at Joshua Liner Gallery in NYC last year. The opening reception goes from 6-9 pm. Fecal Face Dot Gallery 66 Gough Street @Market
Friday night, the San Francisco Arts Commission is treating the city to something extraordinary. Michelle Blade, Jason Jagel, Dan Nakamura, Ferris Plock, Clare Rojas, Deth P. Sun, Kelly Tunstall, Porous Walker, Marci Washington and the Hamburger Eyes collective will be displaying art and installation at 401 Van Ness in conjunction with an SFAC Gallery Window Installation by Chris Duncan, Maya Hayuk, Kyle Ranson, and Brion Nuda Rosch at 155 Grove Street.
