Trace tempts craft brew lovers with Fort Point Beer Co. pairing event

Trace presents the second installment of its Summer Soirée series this Thursday at W San Francisco with a menu of savory and sweet delights paired with beers from the renowned Fort Point Beer Company. Founded in 2014 by brothers Tyler and Justin Catalana in the Presidio of San Francisco, Fort Point is a New American brewery shaped by the deeply SF values of quality craftsmanship and the spirit of innovation.
At six tasting stations, you can try a Kolsch-style ale paired with a juicy, melty 4505 Meats cheddar bratwurst topped with brown sugar baked sauerkraut, or chow on lamb belly pastrami and harissa coleslaw washed down with Fort Point's rich, creamy Westfalia red ale. After five perfectly paired savory courses, finish the night off with strawberry tarragon meringue and a bright, fruity IPA as one of the W's resident DJs spins throughout the night.
This event comes on the heels of the first in the Summer Soiree series, held on May 25th, an elevated culinary experience included dinner paired with Daou Wineries. At the final installment, coming this August, guests will have the chance to take a mixology class and create their own signature cocktail.
Trace is committed to creating an enriching and thoughtful culinary experience by fusing the vibrant, local personality of the Bay Area with our dedication to socially responsible food. Our high-quality cuisine is prepared from locally sourced and sustainable ingredients - or obtained through national partners with well-known sustainable practices. We hope you'll enjoy your meal, which can be confidently traced back to its natural origins.
Incredible food, bottomless beer, and never boring service should make for an unforgettable night.
