It’s Shark Week, and the California Academy of Science is going all out with a 24/7 camera featuring some of the museum's coolest inhabitants.
The shark cam allows anyone to take a virtual dive into the Academy's reef lagoon where sharks swim with rays and other tropical fish via a high-def, live streaming webcam. You can practically spot every detail on the 18 species of fish flouncing around.
A far cry from the popular puppy and kitten live cameras, the shark cam is not for those looking to cuddle — especially during feeding time.
But in case you're looking for something slightly fluffier, Cal Academy also has a penguin cam where you can watch the little gentlemen swim, flirt, and nest from three different view points. You're welcome.
