New Yorkers Joy and Brad crossed the country for an elegant, nautical wedding on the bay with a historic twist.
The couple held their nuptials in the China Cabin, once the social saloon on the PS China. The luxurious, well preserved room, leafed in 22-karat gold, is actually a National Maritime Monument, having made 30 roundtrip journeys from San Francisco to Hong Kong.
Everything here was first-class. Joy and Brad's picture-perfect wedding was complete with personal touches that reflected their commitment to sustainability: Joy arrived in a Prius, and both the invitations and dress were made from recycled and reused products. Despite the California setting, the couple did not forget their Brooklyn roots: Catering came courtesy of hometown restaurant Bep.
The night ended on one golden note, with a gorgeous view of the sun setting on San Francisco Bay.
