You can't go wrong when the groom is a winemaker.
It was without a doubt that the wedding of Carl and Christine Formaker would be at a winery. What better place for a vino connoisseur to celebrate than against the warm, vibrant landscapes of Sonoma? The two selected decor to match, with a combination of traditional and rustic touches and a relaxed, yet elegant vibe. The copper chroma of the country was paired with rich mulberry and saffron hues in the floral arrangements and bridesmaids dresses.
Personal elements also permeated their big day. As music lovers, they knew they had to incorporate their favorite artists in some way, and decided to handcraft cards for each table with the shows they'd experienced together. From Bassnectar to Stevie Wonder, each table marker was illustrated by the couple with care; and made for just the right amount of quirky flair.
Naturally, the two set aside intimate time just for them. During their first look, Carl and Christine read the vows they wrote to each other in tears. Their romanticism carried over into the ceremony and remained thick in the air for the rest of the day. The newlyweds kissed, danced, laughed, cried; and wine flowed all night long.
