Wedding Inspiration: Bob's Donuts replaced the cake in this playful party at an SF urban winery

But it was their shared hometown of San Francisco that inspired the couple's wedding weekend.
Welcome drinks were shared at Zeki's, the pair's neighborhood bar in Nob Hill; and farewell Irish coffees were served the morning after the wedding at the Buena Vista Cafe. But on the big day, only a suite at the Fairmont would do, where the group got ready for the ceremony while overlooking the city before catching some photo ops at Grace Cathedral as the cable car passed by.
And then the party bus arrived and it was all aboard to Bluxome Street Winery, the venue of this couple's dreams. They fell right away for the SoMa spot's rustic decor, with its twinkling glass light fixtures reminiscent of vintage wine jugs and just enough space to accommodate all of their guests while still feeling intimate.
They rolled with the understated, industrial look of the place, seeking to complement its natural woods and unique lighting with lots of fresh green garlands and metallic details. The bridal party's bouquets were simple and chic with a handful of ivory roses. Tea lights in geometric glass containers and monogrammed glasses were speckled across the tables for added warmth. Ball's only two requirements: gold cutlery and donuts.
