Jocelyn Kung and Dennis Aftergut wanted an intimate gathering with their loved ones in a sun-soaked oasis—what better place than Glen Ellen in Sonoma County?
They settled upon Beltane Ranch Estate Winery as the venue—its garden and rolling hills in the distance setting a bucolic scene that would allow the couple to shine.
They added minimal decor—lush spring florals in blush and ivory with a splash of crimson; rustic signs hand-painted with the couple's favorite quotes; and beautifully carved wooden chairs. The arch was an open, copper frame with delicate white blooms woven throughout, tucked beneath a sweeping oak tree. At the reception, rectangular tables were covered with luxurious textured linens and topped with Theoni dinnerware.
While visual aesthetics played an important role, Kung and Aftergut wanted to provide an overall sensory experience appropriate to Wine Country, so naturally there was a seasonal, farm-to-table feast, with each dish meticulously paired with a glass of vino.
