The proposal may have been quiet and modest, but the wedding was teeming with elegant decor—think tufted sofas and intricate florals—and a raging dance floor.
High school sweethearts Talia Garibaldi and Brock Bandoni began as most couples do—she thought he was cute. They were introduced by a mutual friend, went on their first date two days later, and the rest is history.
"I always told Brock that I wanted a very private proposal, nothing extravagant and just the two of us," says Garibaldi. "Thankfully he listened to me and proposed in the living room of our extremely tiny apartment in Denver. He came home from work on our eight-year anniversary and got down on one knee."
The big day really was made up of four days, surrounded by their closest friends and family who shared every aspect of the weekend. Garibaldi notes that her fondest moment was the reception, which came together exactly as they had imagined—gauzy white tents with chandeliers held tables swathed in lush garlands with white blooms, gold accents, and towering centerpieces with spiraling stems. In the center, was a black and white checkered dance floor that Garibaldi said held a "seriously fun dance party."
