Wedding Inspiration: A Moody Fête at SF's Bently Reserve
28 December 2018
The two San Francisco State alums selected the dramatic Bently Reserve in the Financial District for a fall wedding teeming with rich, moody hues—perfect for the changing season.
The majestic old Federal Reserve Bank building set a soaring scene for a ceremony space decked out with floating candles and towering floral arrangements overflowing with cream and crimson blooms. Black chairs and linens were paired with rose-colored runners, while pampas grass accent provided a casual contrast against the venue's marble columns and floors. Gilded table numbers, plates, and lettering added shine.
When the bride walked down the aisle—wearing an ivory lace gown and carrying a bouquet tied with a black lace sash and beads—pale pink petals paved her path, turning gold along the way.
The groomsmen wore classic dark suits with white shirts, while the bridal party was adorned in floor-length frocks in shades of wine.
After the ceremony, the vibe quickly transitioned into party mode with roses projected on the ceiling. After cake and a Champagne toast, the groom found himself under his wife's dress in the middle of the dance floor. We'd say it was a good night!
