Massive Star Wars Lightsaber Battle
What: Are you ready for Episode VII? Prepare yourself for a massive Jedi vs. Sith battle, presented by Newmindspace and Lightsaber Academy. Choose which force you'll be representing, bring your lightsaber, and get ready to draw your weapon. Don't have one handy? You can reserve a lightsaber for $10 and have it waiting for you when you arrive. This event is free to watch and participate in. May the force be with you.

"Swap-O-Rama-Rama" DIY Workshop & Clothing Swap
What: Oakland nonprofit Swap Swap-O-Rama-Rama is holding its regular community clothing swap and do-it-yourself workshop where atendees will be able to learn and explore the process of reusing and collecting items ranging from clothing to home decor. Bring in your clothes and creativity and get ready to swap.

What: Need to switch up your exercise routine? Fitbit is launching a new free fitness program for SF and Bay Area residents. Start the new year off right by joining in on any of a variety of events including a yoga flow class, 5k wellness walk, and coastal hike.
