What: While it's still a little too early to start celebrating Halloween and the Day of the Dead, SOMArts sets the mood with their 15th annual D
ía de los Muertos exhibit. This year's theme explores Hispanic cultural displacement in the Bay Area through elaborate, traditional altars as well as multi-dimensional art installations, and skulls galore.
Why: The openings night festivities will include aDía de los Muertos-inspired artist market sure to spark your creative juices just in time for Halloween.
When: Opening night is Friday, October 10: 6pm — 9pm, $12–15 at the door. Exhibit runs: Saturday, October 11—Saturday, November 8.
