Famous for their mostly-tequila margaritas (otherwise known as blackouts-in-a-glass), the Mission's Latin American Club has been a well-worn dive for a couple of decades. There is so much stuff in this bar that it looks like it's owned by a recovering hoarder–but that just adds to its dusty charm. Peep the faded piñatas dangling from the ceilings, wall of cuckoo clocks, portraits of wild animals and moth-eaten taxidermy before you dive into your drink.
On a warm night, stake out one of the tables outside with your group of friends and take over the sidewalk. Just don't spill anything on people walking by– because nights here can turn into a blur pretty quickly.
