This year's Napa Valley Film Festival promises to be the biggest one yet. While it may not yet be giving Sundance a run for its money (yet?), the weather is way better. As is the food and wine — but, for five days, chefs and winemakers are happy to pass the spotlight.

Kicking off Wednesday, November 13th, this year's five-day festival features 250 visiting filmakers presenting over 100 new movies. Red carpets, cocktail receptions, elaborate dinners and plenty of wine are, of course, a part of the experience, because what film festival would be complete without celebrity spotting and too much drinking. 

Headquartered at The Oxbow Public Market in Downtown Napa, the biggest screenings will take place at the Opera House and The Uptown Theater in Napa, the Lincoln Theater in Yountville and the Cameo Cinema in St. Helena with smaller screenings elsewhere in the four towns. 

From the main stream to the provocative, the films cover a broad range of topics featuring both established and up-and-coming actors and directors.
