People: It's time to do some serious psyching-up for what are sure to be some adrenaline-infused moments next week: Arcade Fire tickets go on sale for their sure-to-be epic Bay Area shows in October. First up is an October 2nd performance at the Greek Theatre. Tickets for that go on sale August 22nd. Their second show is in the woods of Big Sur at the Henry Miller Memorial Library, a few days later on October 5th. Tickets for that performance go on sale August 18th at high noon. Mark your calendars!
Arcade Fire is the biggest band in America right now with a number one (and amazing) album, The Suburbs (Merge). They also just played two sold out nights at Madison Square Garden. I still remember when no one knew who they were, back in 2004. Times sure do change.
