After a whirlwind week of opening events at the 7x7 Social Club pop-up in Jackson Square, it's time to put our gorgeous space to creative use.

This July, we are stoked to welcome some of our editors' favorite local talents for intimate workshops, one-on-ones, and tastings. While programming for the rest of the summer will be announced soon, find four very special events below with Wallflower's Eleanor Gerber-Siff, fashion icon Simon Ungless, dazzling decorative painter Caroline Lizarraga, and Michelin-starred chef Nicolas Delaroque.

Designing with Dahlias: Eleanor Gerber-Siff Teaches Floral Arrangement

Known for her beloved Mission shop Wallflower, Eleanor will lead a hands-on two-hour workshop in which you’ll learn to create a low, lush centerpiece using her seasonal favorite, dahlias, along with all the wonderful and unusual local accents and foliage that Wallflower is known for. You’ll go home with a gorgeous arrangement and the skills to do it at home. We are hosting two intimate workshops for maximum 10 guests each.

BYO pre-loved clean garment and watch the master work his magic during your one-on-one 90-minute appointment at 7x7 Social Club.

ICYMI, Simon was a close friend/collaborator of the late Alexander McQueen. He also served as director of Academy of Art University's School of Fashion for 29 years. Today his label, When Simon Met Ralph, employs his signature graphic printing techniques on vintage, deadstock and discarded garments to create "new” pieces that ooze modernity with edge. Giving old clothes new life with his undeniably cool stamp is Simon’s happy place.

Midas Touch: Metal Leafing + Watercolor Painting With Caroline Lizarraga

You've seen Caroline's wild and wondrous works on Instagram and on the walls of beloved local spots such as Nightbird, Robin, and Betty Lin. Now, jaws are dropping and passersby are wandering into the 7x7 Social Club pop-up at the sight of her dramatic gold metal and watercolor wall. This rare, three-hour workshop for just 10 guests is your chance to meet the maestra. Inspired by her wall at 7x7, she'll teach you her techniques for applying watercolor paint over metal leaf to moody, ethereal effect. Take home your own 9x12" wood panel to show off your new mad skills.

Paté + Aspic, Oh La La: Tasting & Happy Hour With Maison Nico

Michelin-starred chef Nicolas Delaroque's patés en croute and aspics are too pretty to eat...almost! These rarefied Frenchie delicacies are made modern and lovelier than ever with seasonal California ingredients at Jackson Square's Maison Nico. If you're new to paté and aspic (and, you can admit it, maybe a little scared?), Chef Nico will guide you through the process and flavors with plenty of vin on hand. You're going to love it, we promise.
