The 3rd Annual ArtPadSF kicked off with an exclusive opening party at the Phoenix Hotel, as over 40 hotel rooms were transformed into art galleries and taken over by curatorial projects. ArtPadSF benefitted the SFMOMA SECA Art Award, which has honored more than 70 Bay Area artists. The night’s festivities included:
An exclusive preview of all ArtPadSF exhibitors before doors opened to the general public
An open bar and tasty bites hosted by Chambers eat + drink
A poolside performance by synthpop and chillwave band Altars
A special synchronized swimming performance in the Phoenix Hotel pool by the San Francisco Tsunami Swim Club, a gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight-friendly masters-level swim team
Guests were treated to an array of specialty cocktails made with Drambuie, Reyka Vodka, Hendrick’s Gin, and Sailor Jerry Rum, as well as Sapporobeer.
