You might remember Miles Scott, former leukemia patient, the five-year-old who captured San Francisco's heart with a wish to be Batman for just one day. Well, now he's getting the Hollywood treatment.
Make-A-Wish and thousands of San Francisco volunteers made his dream come true in 2013, turning SF into Gothan City and Scott into Batkid. Now, his triumphant story will be made into a movie starring Julia Roberts, presumably as Make-a-Wish San Francisco chapter director Patricia Wilson, who organized the event.
This won't be Batkid's first appearance on the silver screen, however; his Gotham City adventure also inspired a documentary, "Batkid Begins," which debuted this week at Sundance. Roberts is planning on adapting the documentary into a heartwarming blockbuster.
