Grammy-nominated turntablist Diplo is coming to SOM. If your eyes bugged out of your head when you read that, push them back into your skull and start believing it. And if you're wondering how they're going to fit so many rabid fans in such a tiny space, well, just know that it's going to be one heck of a fun, sweaty night. It's all going down tomorrow night, June 23 for the bar's monthly FACE party, and you'll have to get there early to get in, because there won't be a guest list or advance tickets. Just bring your dancing shoes and $15.
A "secret" special guest who'll battle Diplo on the turntables (secret because he's got another conflict-of-interest show in SF next week), so all we can tell you is that this dude is one of Diplo's most trusted partners in crime. Resident FACE DJs Eug and J. Montag keep the mood flowing in between sets. The party starts at 9:30 pm and goes until late.
