Boba Guys Opens Hayes Valley Flagship

By

Boba Guys debuts their biggest, baddest location to date this weekend, and it's full of fun new offerings.

As a self-proclaimed "bobaneer," (loosely defined as someone who drinks Boba Guys every.single.day), when the milk tea chain announced their latest location, my tapioca-filled heart fluttered. With such chic interiors, a "boba" tiled floor for the perfect Instagram photo, and now a dedicated lounge area, I'll be spending much more time here (well, more than I already do).

Along with the new location, sister brand Tea People gets their moment in the spotlight with the opening of an exclusive tea bar. The tea bar will feature tea flights with chocolate pairings and periodic tea classes for those interested. Tea cocktails and nitro-infused tea will also be available later this summer.

On the food side, there will now be made-to-order onigiri in unusual flavors such as mapo tofu, khao mun gai, and sriracha salmon as well as toast topped with kaya jam made with pandan leaves and 100 percent pure coconut cream or housemade condensed milk buttercream.

// Opens June 25th at 12 p.m., 8 Octavia St. (Hayes Valley), bobaguys.com
