The ever-lively Temescal Alley is getting ready for a feast.
On Friday, May 12, the Bay Area–based, artisanal online grocer will celebrate moms with a 100-person dinner prepped in the Good Eggs kitchen. Called Take Back Dinner, the supper includes a menu inspired by Good Eggs' recently launched, healthier-than-takeout dinner kits, which are designed for easy weeknight cooking at home. Of course, this is a chance to get mom out of the house for a "home-cooked" meal without the cooking frenzy.
The streetside dinner party will also highlight the talents of Temescal Alley vendors, with treats and take-home goodie bags from Tara's Organic Ice Cream, CaliCraft beer, and Homestead Apothecary. The alley's shopkeepers are also joining in: Win raffle items from jewelry favorite Esqueleto and get 20 percent off at the adorable Baggu.
It's a celebration of the community, local retailers, and Mum all wrapped into one fun party—just be sure to RSVP before it's sold out.
