A landslide of stylish denizens and society ilk came tumbling down from their tony San Francisco hills to welcome Maiden Lane's newest baby: Christian Louboutin. The noted shoe designer opened shop in Union Square on Tuesday night. Practicaly every well-heeled SF blue blood was there, showing off their stems while buying something new to top them off.
The new digs not only feature characteristically breathtaking shoes, but also a nail polish bar and a "tattoo parlor"—i.e., a small section of the store that takes your body ink and prints it on a pair of bespoke Louboutins.
Should the mood strike, head over to 29 Maiden Lane to grab your own pair of red-bottom beauties. Bonus: 10 percent of all sales will go to California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) from today until Sunday.
