Doughnut Dolly Pops up at The Market
What: East Bay doughnut connoisseur Hannah Hoffman is opening a third outpost of Doughnut Dolly later this month—it will be the Oakland-based shop's first location in San Francisco. But prior to opening a permanent shop at The Market in late September, Hannah will be on-hand to give locals a taste of Doughnut Dolly's signature Naughty Cream and Jam Doughnuts during a pop-up at The Market starting Friday morning! We're calling it the perfect way to start the weekend.

Sake Class at Yuzuki Japanese Eatery
What: Get to know the traditional brewing styles of Japanese sake as taught by sake Sommelier Yoshihiro Sako during this unique class. The demonstration will include otsumami (snacks to complement the sake) and tastings from each of the four main categories of sake. Guests will also learn how to classify different sakes based on process and flavor characteristics, as well as review the relationship between sake and umami, discuss what koji is, and consider the difference between wine and sake. Bottoms up!

Bloody Mary Fest
What: Fifteen of San Francisco's best Bloody Marys will gather under one roof this weekend. Tickets to this boozy fest include three hours of unlimited Bloody Mary tastes, music, local food samples and a vote for "The Best Bloody Mary." Participating restaurants include Finnegan's Wake, Five, The Front Porch, The Rock Bar, Kitchen Story, Penrose, St. Mary's Pub, Nido, Proud Mary, Preservation & Co, 54 Mint, Plum Bar & Restaurant, 1760, The Dorian SF and Palm House. Sunday Streets Western Addition
What: Sunday Streets Western Addition will transform Fillmore, Fulton and Baker Streets into a car-free extravaganza of fun, free activities for the whole community to enjoy. The block party includes live music, bike rentals, dance performances and more. Parents with tikes in tow can choose from dozens of hands-on activities that encourage physical activity, healthy eating, early reading, arts exploration and more.
