Here's what 7x7 editors were thinking about this week when they should have been at work.
Carboxi Express Facial, The Mandarin Oriental
I stopped into the Mandarin Oriental spa for a quick Monday afternoon facial and left feeling ready to take on the rest of the week. Their new happy hour menu offers different treatments, ranging from massages to an express pedicure (all under one hour, so you can stop in during lunch) designed to offer relief and relaxation after a busy day at work. The quick and easy facial was the best part of my week and left my skin looking luminous. I didn't even have to reapply makeup.

Nails Inc. Superfood NailKale Base Coat
We now live in an age where we put kale in nail polish. This pleases me. Deeply.

Better than a Facebook update for a close friend's birthday, Punkpost is the busy/lazy lady's stationery. It's simple: choose from one of their cheeky cards, enter your message on your phone, and then Punkpost will hand write it on the card and pop in the mail the very same day. Let's hear it for the return of snail mail.

I might have gotten a little Photoshop-happy when designing my Man Ray gold lips-emblazoned phone case, but Casetify makes a custom beauty as easy as signing in with your Instagram account. Upload your favorite filtered photo, and voila. Tech perfectly personalized.

D-I-Y Birthday Crowns
I would like to expound the virtues of on-the-fly DIY birthday crowns. This one, made just for me in 5 minutes by my partner in crime, digital director Schuyler Bailey, who also made herself a matching one, since our birthdays are mere days apart. I’ll take this heartfelt hat over a tiara any day.
